Little Church of the West
Little Church of the West, Wedding Chapel

The Little Church of the West was envisioned by William J. Moore Jr. in 1941 as part of his plans for a resort hotel, marking a new venture in Las Vegas. As the architect and builder for his uncle, R. E. Griffith of California, Moore aimed to tap into the growing wedding chapel market in the area. While the Little Church of the West was created to draw business to the Last Frontier, it also holds the distinction of being the first facility specifically designed as a wedding chapel.
